InternetPageDesigns.Com ("we," "us," "our," "IPD") offers web page design and related services. By entering into an agreement with us, the client ("you," "your") accepts that IPD will create a web site on your behalf. This web site will contain content and stylistic elements agreed upon by the client and IPD.
The client is responsible for ensuring ownership (i.e. copyright / intellectual property) of content provided to IPD for inclusion on the client's web site. IPD will not knowling infringe upon any copyright in the posting or use of text, graphics, audio files, web page scripts or code, and other protected materials.
IPD will place copyright marks "©" on materials posted on the client's the web site at the client's request.
IPD reserves the right to place our logo on your site's home page and/or in another appropriate location. Our logo and accompanying text will hyperlink to IPD's homepage. This credit will appear similar to the following:
IPD's standard business rate for web design services is $60 / hour. Additional fees, including, but not limited to, domain registration and web hosting charges, are NOT included in this fee.
IPD offers a preferred business discount to those companies that commit to 12 month contracts based on a fixed, minimum number of service hours per month.
IPD offers a 50% discount off of our standard business rate to all non-profit organizations.
All billing is pro-rated to the nearest five minute interval (either up or down).
Statements are mailed out within 3 business days of the end of the month. If you do not receive your statement by the 15th of the month, you should contact IPD for a duplicate invoice.
Bills not paid in full ("net") by the last day of the month following the billing month will be assessed a $10.00 late fee. This fee will be posted to the statement of the month following the billing month of which the bill was not paid in full. A late fee will be assessed in each month that any account balance is carried forward, including any assessed fees or penalties.
Your payment will be credited to your account upon receipt in our office. If your payment is made with a check returned for insufficient funds, your account may be assessed a late payment fee, bank fees and a "bounced check" penalty fee of $20.00.
IPD is not responsible for 3rd party sites; their operation and/or content. The Internet, including IPD client sites, is inherintly interlinked and interdependent. Disruptions to service or features and any resulting loss to the client are not the responsbility of IPD. Such interuptions may include, but are not limited to, server crashes, server maintainence, phone line interference, storm damage, etc.
IPD is not responsible for correcting client-supplied and/or 3rd party materials submitted for inclusion on client web pages. IPD will correct errors on client web pages as soon as reasonably possible upon appropriate notification and/or post a temporary "under construction" page until corrections may be made.
IPD is not responsible for malicious attacks (commonly refered to as "hacking") made against client sites or damage caused by such activity to client businesses, hardware, software and data security and privacy.
